Margaret Howell x PORTER – Spring/Summer 2011 – Day Pack

Taking her penchant for the androgynous and simple to the table, British designer Margaret Howell, has been a fast favorite of the Japanese market and has since then been one of the designers most requested for collaborations. Howell’s signature unadorned and fuss-free designs have won her fans, and some recent joint projects with labels like Casio G-Shock in Japan. For Spring/Summer 2011, Howell partners up with Japanese bag and accessories maker, PORTER, to create an understated yet fully functional day pack.
With an oval backpack shape we are familiar with, the palette remains quite simple in grey, beige and navy. While the exterior isn’t high octane in appearance, the bag does pack quite a punch with thoughtful compartments designed to host everything you own from cameras to keys and wallets quite safely. The Day Pack also comes with padded back and shoulder straps for added comfort, no matter what your haul is. Available now at BEAMS.
