Milan Fashion Week – Marc Jacobs Men’s – Fall/Winter 2011
January 20, 2011

His biography read like an improbable spy novel – a birth of privilege, a lover of man & woman, and a decorated Commando for the Crown. But such was the life of Michael “Micky” Burn, who posthumously became the inspiration for Marc Jacobs Men’s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection.
As if each was freeze frame on parts of Burn’s extraordinary life, Jacobs was able to piece together a collection, which highlighted period themes and details. Long coat in olive fatigue colorway with fur collar, distressed cashmere sweater, and fitted cargo pants. An admirer for New York street culture, the designer throw graphics by graffiti artist BAST for good measure.
