Maison Martin Margiela presents the men’s Artisanal Hand Painted Replica Sneaker for Spring 2012. Made in Italy, the vintage-inspired silhouette is treated to a novel makeover, featuring a distinctive jute upper with rough-hewn edges to spur fraying. The entire outer of the shoe, including the gum outsole, is haphazardly finished with an uneven coat of white paint, leaving much of the surface exposed and the texture of the materials to become more pronounced.
